THE YELLOWSTONE TEACHER PROJECT :
The world's first National Park through the eyes of a Teacher
Welcome! Many of the issues surrounding America's first national park are very controversial. The issues of diseased bison, winter use, bioprospecting, and wolf reintroduction are topics that can be used to teach and inform all age groups. As educators, it is our job to provide our students with the tools needed to become independent thinkers and strong decision makers.
This site is designed as a resource for educators to use when teaching topics and issues related to Yellowstone National Park. Here, you will find lessons for elementary, middle, and high school classrooms. This site is also a work in progress, so, check back regularly for updates. Browse the site, use the information, and share with your fellow educators.
